Here are some of the most important names of Allah (according to Maturidiyya);
1. Al-Mawjud - the Existing One. Allah exists, His existence does not depend on others, it does not have beginning or end.
2. Al-Ahad - the Unique One. Allah is only one, no one is equal to Him.
3. Al-Hayy - the Living One. Allah is living, but His life is different from others'.
4. Al-Alim - the Knowing One. Allah knows everything. He knows the past and the future. There is nothing that He does not know, but His knowledge is different from others'.
5. As-Sami - the Hearing One. Allah hears everything, but His hearing is different form others'. He does not need ears to hear.
6. Al-Basir - the Seeing One. Allah sees everything, but His seeing is different from others'. He does not need eyes to see.
7. Al-Mutakallim - the Speaking One. Allah speaks. Qur'an is His words. His speaking is different from others'. He does not need sounds, letters, or mouth to speak.
8. Al-Kadir - the Mighty One. Allah is almighty. He does what He wants. However, His power is different from others'. He does not need muscles or any tools.
9. Al-Halik - the Creator. Allah is the Creator of everything in the world.
10. Ar-Razzak - the Breadwinner. Allah gives food to all the people and animals, every creature needs Him.
11. Ar-Rabb - the Instructor. Allah is the Lord and Instructor of the universe.
12. Ash-Shakur - the Rewarding One. Allah will reward everyone who does good.
13. Al-Adl - the Just One. Allah is doing everything according to justice.
14. Al-Gafur - the Forgiving One. Allah forgives sins to many people.
15. At-Tawwab - the One who receives repentance. Allah receives repentance and forgives those who repent.
16. Al-Mujib - the One who answers. Allah receives all the prayers and answers some of them.
17. Al-Hakim - the Wise One. Allah is doing everything according to wisdom.
18. Al-Azim - the Great One. Allah is great, and there is no one who is greater than He is. His greatness is not in the sizes, but in dignity and power.
19. Al-Jamil - the Beautiful One. Allah is perfect and beautiful in His essence, attributes, and actions.
20. Al-Kuddus - the Holy One. Allah has no defects or shortages in His essence, attributs, and actions.
